A simple description with a simple girl

Assalamualaikum, Wr, Wb.

Hasti Nurul Haq with a funny face was born in Ujung Pandang, march 2nd, 1996. I`m 23 years old with a little experience to make  Mrs Hasna as my Mother, Mr Busti as my Father, 1 brother, 2 sisters happy. I start in 2016 and I`m still trying until now to understand lesson about education of chemistry in state university of Makassar. I always imagine that i have been in many place in Indonesia or another country, yes my hobby is traveling. And i have the hope of being a good wife and mother who can educate the life of the nation. Just that i guess, see you in another life. wassalamualaikum

SUMMARY AND SUGGESTION

1.1 Purposes of Practicum

For teaching me how to teach well, to My Entrepreneurs learning materials for students so students can understand the material that I convey, to learn curriculum differences in Indonesia and in the Philippines. To communicate with me how to communicate with class 5

1.2 Procedures of Practicum

Prepare my physically and mentally, preparing learning material, teaching students about the material that has been prepared, giving assignments, then discussing and refuting.

1.3 Outcomes of Practicum

I can discuss how to communicate well with students who have different cultures and cultures, I can understand how to control the class well, and I can find out the willingness of students who compile them to be not actively learning.

1.4. The Chellenges of Practicum

The challenge that I face in the teaching process is the language used in the learning process, because students are very difficult to study the material that I convey. The next challenge is the difficulty of managing students during the learning process. But because of learning, experience, and waiting for them, I can overcome these challenges.

1.5 Overall Impression

I cannot describe this impression with words because I am very satisfied and happy to have been in this place, this is a very extraordinary experience that I will never forget until the end of my life. One day I will return to this place, seeing my students succeed with their own efforts. If there is an opportunity I am very happy to be given another opportunity to teach at this school.

1.6 Suggestion for Future Improvement

I hope for the generation that follows the SEA TEACHER program is to prepare themselves as well as possible, both physical and mental competition. Because far from home for us, we are far from focusing on this process. I hope that many interested people will join this program, and this article can be a motivation for readers to take part in this program

To my practice teacher, my mentor gave me the opportunity to observe and give me topics that I would teach to children. And all I have to do is make lesson plans on the topic and make media to support my lessons.

1.2 Time Management and Organizing

The first activity I learning when I first entering class to greet “Magandang Umaga”, and I gave them the opportunity to pray. After that I will sing and the children will follow me. They all sit down with their group friends. If they are ready, I will continue to attend the list and continue to review the lesson yesterday, then continue with the (new) lesson today. And make group activities, after which they will report on their activities. after reporting is complete. I ask them to make generalizations about today’s lesson to find out that they understand or not. It’s time to close the lesson, before going home they pray. Clean the area of class and then say goodbye to

1.3. Problem Solving

During the learning process i get a problems, when difficult to controlling a students, they do things that are according to their wishes, but different from the learning material discuss. Then the next problem is the use of language different, some students do not know to speak English so that it is difficult to receive a lesson. The solution that I give to the problem is when in a learning process I give they a game and some activities so that they are focused on the lesson. About language, i learn about language in this area which is Tagalog. Besides that I teach a student to use English well, and i also teach them how to speak Indonesian

1.4 Class Management

When students feel bored in the classroom and don’t do the assignments that I give, then I as a teacher gives a game that can awaken their enthusiasm, besides that I also motivated them and watched animated videos according to the lesson. Because their compilation was too active in the classroom so that they are make a noise, and to make they are silent I give them strict direction

1.5 Your Overall Impression in Teaching

I am very proud and happy to be able to meet with students in this school, they are very funny and can make me comfortable because they are always welcome me happily, in the learning process they are smart and responsive in accepting learning lesson, by answering questions that I was given. Even though they sometimes playing in the learning process, I was able to overcome the problem, by giving them direction according to the rules in this school. I really miss the time when we study with students and teachers and of course as friends when learning is not going on. During my teaching at this school, there was a lot of experience that I got, and I will learn in my teaching process in Indonesia

I really hope students are able to understand what I am saying, and I hope they can practice it in everyday in their life, so that the problem in learning process there are some discussions that I have faced but all of them can be overcome with experience

PEDAGOGICAL CONTENTS

1.1 Teaching Methods

Before starting the learning process, the teacher starts with the help of greetings and then prays . After praying the teacher gives little motivation to students to learn about learning. Next the teacher conveys the learning material that will be discussed and gives an example to students about students who provide material that is easily conveyed.

1.2 Learning Materials and Innovation

The learning materials used in general is PowerPoint presentations. But, the teacher also provides games, motivations, and demonstrations that will help students to understand the topics presented by the teacher. Learning materials also depend on the contents of the learning topic. In addition, students also prepare learning materials that they will use when the teacher provides task performance.

1.3 Sources of Learning and Technology

Teachers use internet to get teaching aids, so the teacher not carry textbooks more, but students still have to bring their textbooks. It will be useful if there is a problem with the projector. The technology in the classroom, there are projector can be used by the teacher to deliver the materials.

1.4 Authentic Assessment

The foundation of authentic assessment revolves around evaluating a students’ ability to apply what they have learned in physics. Students are asked to quiz or another test to evaluation at the end of the class or at the end of the topics. It’s also with midterm and final semester.

1.2 Academic Support System

Facilities at university science high school are very adequate. Each classroom has air conditioners, fans, projector, other rooms have LCD TV and outside the room with cctv cameras to improve school security and monitor student activities while in school. In addition the school library is very convenient and provides a very good reference book. Not only that teachers all also provided equipment such as computers, printers, internet networks and loudspeakers to facilitate and accelerate the performance of teachers in carrying out their duties.

1.3 Teaching System

Teaching system in this school, teachers will be given one hour teaching for one class per day. Teachers can use books, PowerPoint or handouts that can allow students to learn the material first before they arrive at school. Teachers will teach with various learning models according to the topic being studied.

1.4 Materials and Other Learning Sources

For the materials, the teachers in CLSU Science High School that used English but still mixed with Tagalog Language. To provide learning process in the classroom, teacher use course syllabus, internet (Book Online) and textbook, lecture notes/ handout, and PowerPoint presentation. My cooperating teacher (Sir Marius) always give handout to the student at the end of the topic, so the student can learn more at the home because teacher will give a quiz before they are moved to the next topics.

1.5. Measurement and Evaluation System

This school has different measurement and evaluation system with another school in my country, Indonesia. Learners from Grades 1 to 6 are graded on Written Work, Performance Tasks, and Quarterly Assessment every quarter. Written Work, Performance Tasks, and Quarterly Assessment every quarter are given specific percentage weights that vary according to the nature of the learning area.

1.6 General Curriculum

All of the schools in Philippines use the curriculum from the government. It’s called K to 12 means education obligatory start from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. The Curriculum was implemented 4 years ago, after the former President Benigno Aquino mandated this so that the Philippine schools will have the same number of years with the other South East Asian Countries. With that, the University Sciense High School used the same curriculum, two years now after its opening. This is to make sure that, students get to choose the right track for their future profession. The curriculum also would like to help those students, to make them work-ready after graduating from Senior High School.

However, the teachers in CLSU Science High School make their own Lesson Plan but still parallel to the National curriculum following the guidelines of the Department of Education.This Lesson Plan is mapped and aligned to the DepEd SHS Curriculum, designed to be highly usable for teachers. OBSERVATION OF TEACHERS IN CLASS

1.1 Teaching Planning

Before teaching, the teacher prepares the material to be lesson on the previous day, the teacher prepares together with the learning materials to support the learning process, such as power points, teaching aids, videos and teaching materials

1.2 Preparing Lessons and Materials

Before teaching, the teacher instructs students to prepare the notebook, then introduces the power points that have been made related to the material being studied.

1.3 Teaching in the Classroom

The process of learning in the classroom, teacher meetings which begin to provide related material and ask students for memories of the material that has been studied. Next the teacher conveys the material he wants to learn, then the teacher gives an interlude with examples in daily life. During the student learning process as a center. At the end of the process, the teacher re-explains the brief material that has been learned.

1.4 Measurement and Evaluation Assessment and Evaluation

In the process, the teacher gives assignments during the learning process, examinations, daily tests. In addition, the teacher evaluates the daily lives of students.

1.5 Impression of Teacher’s Performance

In my opinion, teachers in this school can condition the learning process, placing serious conditions and playing conditions. And every day ask the student about student’s feeling. Of course very serious in carrying out their duties as teachers and Showing carrying to students, so that they feel comfortable in the learning process.

When I teach in this school, I support the regional language there, because only a few students are able to use English. In addition, students also like when i teaching, because i teach them with English language and they will training their speak English.
